Or for the adventurous drivers, an hour and a half scenic 4x4 or 2x4 drive from the same town. The lodge is run completely on solar power with water sourced from a well on the grounds, This may mean a little less appliances, but also an abundance of quiet reflection.

To get to the Resort it is important to Note that a Sedan or Low Ground Clearance Vehicle is not suitable. You would need an High Road Clearance Vehicle, SUV, Bakkie, 4X4 or 2X4.

Our one bedroom units comprise of a bedroom and. en-suite bathroom. Situated close to the lake, the views are breathtaking especially during sunset. The lodge restaurant and bar are 200m away with amazing food and cold beer, overlooking the vast Lake Nhambavale. A vehicle with high clearance is required to reach Nhambavale Lodge, 4x4 is preferable.
