The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

We have tried to make a home-away-from-home for you to enjoy. The house is not new and angular but older, mature, softened and comforting. If you are looking for old-fashioned relaxation with comfy beds, sunny corners, throw rugs, books to read and DVDS to watch, this might be for you.

The perfect place for a romantic couples getaway. Carabella is set up and priced for a couple. As there are only two beds, we can accomodate a second couple or third person, or two single guests - each extra guest over 2 people is $50 per night. Carabella offers boutique decor, private deck and garden located in the greater grounds of the main house. Relax and recharge in this plush private apartment surrounded by an exquisite country garden.
