Historical 1930's cabin. Once the home of the resident cheese maker. Restored to suit the style of the time. Situated on a cattle property in the picturesque McPherson Ranges. Has a fishing dam closeby. Sits below Mt. Edinburgh Castle. The property is part of the ancient Gondwana rain forest. From Woodenbong, take Glennie Street, becomes Boomi Creek Road, keep on the sealed road at the Brumby Creek turn. Travel a further approx 6km. Our place is not suited to young children. Hillview Highland Cows-Nestled on a small ridge Hillview Dairy circa 1887 overlooks the stunning escarpment of Mt Tallebudgera, Currumbin Creek and the farming Valley landscape. Over a hundred years the Old Dairy Bales has sat as part of the fabric of a thriving Dairy Farm in the spectacular Gold Coast Hinterland. Surrounded by acres of National Parks, it transports you into another time, whilst still a stones throw from all the attractions and the luxuries of the Southern Gold Coast and Byron.

This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

Located in the beautiful Scenic Rim under two hours drive from Brisbane. There is also currently no mobile reception (plus for some, negative for others!), but there is a free landline phone.
