The wonderful 4bd, 2ba farm-house is situated on the quieter North side of Mahia. The one acre House site offers un-obstructed panoramic Pacific Ocean views that over-look the Tokaroa Reef and beautiful white sand cove beaches ideal for bathing and swimming. The house is tastefully decorated by the furniture design owners based in Los Angeles, many of the pieces collected from their travels. If you are wanting to get away from it all and create a memorable holiday this is the ideal retreat.

Wheatstone Studio

Our modern, architecturally designed detached studio is the perfect accommodation for couples or individuals looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Situated on a hectare block with a relaxing rural outlook our house is walking distance (1500m) to Wainui Beach and a short (5 min) drive to Gisborne city. The perfect location! Our studio mixes a luxurious but informal bach aesthetic it’s the ideal place to unwind, relax and enjoy Gisborne. BBQ and surfboard available on request.

Large Bach - Mahia, Blue Bay by the sea

Elevated views close to the beach Reserve, our beautiful Blue Bay Bach is a family-friendly retreat offering stunning views to mahia off the large entertainment deck, easy access to a safe, family friendly beach, and close to Mahia, beach shops and pub. Our well appointed large bach is a short stroll to the beach directly in front, 5-minute Drive to Mahia. Here, you’ll find Mokotahi walk, surfing and fishing , and ample family activities on the beach front decking and lawn

Magnolia Cottage

Enjoy the quiet area. Listen to all the native birds, swim in the pool, take a walk in our lovely area, or simply relax in the spacious cottage with a drink. Inside, go up the spiral stairs to the cozy mezzanine bedroom (please note that it's low up there). The unique stairs are from the old star observatory on Titirangi (the local maunga/mountain)! The sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2. There is no kitchen, but there is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle.

Here in the far east are the first in the world to see the light of day. Known for our laid-back surf culture, superior Chardonnay and aromatic wines, fertile soils and abundance of local produce. This modern retreat offers the perfect balance of rural peace and coastal convenience, with stunning views of the surrounding hills and our very own persimmon orchard. A 7min (6.3km) drive to town beaches, a 6min (4.4km) drive to town and a 10min (6.3km) drive to the air port.

Mahia holiday home

Very spacious holiday home with uninterrupted breathtaking views. This stunning home captures fabulous morning sunrises and views over to Gisborne and the east coast. Plenty of extra space in the 2nd house for those larger group bookings. Large lawn area fit for parking cars and boats. More lawn space for running around, outdoor games and barbecues. You are surrounded by Swimming, Surfing, fishing, diving spots and nice walks along the beach right at your doorstep!

Charming Morere Lodge Cottage

Our 2 bedroom 1920s cottage has great rural views, is a short walk to the Mōrere Hot Springs and a short drive to the closest beach, family-friendly activities, Mangaone caves and 15 minutes from the beautiful Mahia Peninsula . You’ll love our place because of the cosiness, the comfy beds, the views, the 1920's charm and character plus the 30 acres of pastures, woodland and stream to explore. The cottage is good for couples, and families (with kids).

Sanctuary Lodge - Cabin 1

Get away from it all and re-energise yourselves. Mahia offers safe swimming, fishing and walks. The cabin is located in private bush setting, overlooking Mahia Peninsula and two bays. Cabin 1 can sleep a couple in a queen bed and one child under 7. It has recently been renovated, we are aiming for a comfortable, relaxing, and cosy feeling. We do offer reduced rates for more than one night's stay, please ask for prices.

Classic kiwi beach front bach in Mahanga

Class kiwi bach situated right across the road from one of east coast's best surfing breaks. An awesome place to chill on the deck or couch and watch the surfers, or to get out there yourself. This fully fenced bach has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is ideal for families. Across the road the 8km golden sand beach has a rocky area with a stream running through it, great for crab hunting, shell collecting and dam building.

Mahia Heights Beach Views

Our home is on an elevated site, with lovely views down to the beach and the bay, and is a short walk to the sand. The guest suite is situated at one end of the house and comprises a bedroom, bathroom and a separate lounge room with its own private deck and entrance. The bedroom has a queen bed. Enjoy waking to the sound of the waves and the local bird life. Have breakfast on the deck while taking in the views.

Wainui Beach Studio, Gisborne

Our tiny house is tucked away on a peaceful semi-rural lane, offering an ideal stay for individuals or couples. Just a 5-minute walk to Wainui Beach and a short 5-minute drive to downtown Gisborne, you’ll have easy access to both Gissy’s most scenic beach and the city center. Whether you’re here for a relaxing beach break, a work trip, or a surf session, our cozy tiny house is the perfect base for your stay.
