The wonderful 4bd, 2ba farm-house is situated on the quieter North side of Mahia. The one acre House site offers un-obstructed panoramic Pacific Ocean views that over-look the Tokaroa Reef and beautiful white sand cove beaches ideal for bathing and swimming. The house is tastefully decorated by the furniture design owners based in Los Angeles, many of the pieces collected from their travels. If you are wanting to get away from it all and create a memorable holiday this is the ideal retreat.

Queen BnB

Accomodation is located at the back of the section. There is a security camera monitoring the front driveway and road. The room is very compact cosy and private in a garden setting with a courtyard. My guests so far have told me the bed is very comfortable. There is AC unit. There is a small step onto the unit veranda to access the room. I DONT allow children or pets to stay as there is no room, as well as safety concerns, the room and sectiois not child proof. I provide milk tea and coffee

Only a 10 minute drive from town & surrounded by nature with an evergreen subtropical outlook you won't want to leave this charming one of a kind place. With tui, kereru & Molly morepork at your doorstep relaxing on the deck is a beautiful experience. Cosy & comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. A light breakfast is provided. Wainui Beach Studio, Gisborne

Our tiny house is tucked away on a peaceful semi-rural lane, offering an ideal stay for individuals or couples. Just a 5-minute walk to Wainui Beach and a short 5-minute drive to downtown Gisborne, you’ll have easy access to both Gissy’s most scenic beach and the city center. We have basic bikes available to use - perfect for a leisurely ride around the area. Whether you’re here for a relaxing beach break, a work trip, or a surf session, our cozy tiny house is the perfect base for your stay.

Wheatstone Studio

Our modern, architecturally designed detached studio is the perfect accommodation for couples or individuals looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Situated on a hectare block with a relaxing rural outlook our house is walking distance (1500m) to Wainui Beach and a short (5 min) drive to Gisborne city. The perfect location! Our studio mixes a luxurious but informal bach aesthetic it’s the ideal place to unwind, relax and enjoy Gisborne. BBQ and surfboard available on request.

Escape to the beach.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. No cell reception but all you'll need to relax. 5mins stroll to a great surfing and swimming beach. Plenty of space for tents, campervans and caravans. There is a bathroom with a toilet, vanity and hot shower. Please bring your own linen. If this is not possible let us know and we can sort some out. Pets are allowed, please specify when booking. The section is not fully fenced and any pets are not allowed on the furniture.

Central, Spacious and Comfortable Retreat

Our spacious and comfortable retreat is located in central Gisborne, only a short stroll (200m) away from Ballance Street Village, where you will find great food, coffee and many other bare necessities (post, gift shop, florist, pharmacy, liquor store, etc). Your sunny room is self-contained and situated in a private area of the house with independent access and contactless entry system. Enjoy a luxury king bed, Wi-Fi, TV (freeview, Netflix), workspace and kitchenette.

Mahia Magic

Located 1 minute from the beach this cosy little cabin is perfect for your weekend away. Mahia Beach, Taylor’s Bay, the dairy, fishing club, Seaside Markets and Sunset Point Tavern are all within walking distance. The cabin has a little kitchen with a fridge, cooktop and microwave. There is also a BBQ located outside. Around the back is your own little bathroom with a shower and toilet. Come and check out all the beautiful Mahia Beach has to offer.

Pōhatu Studio, A retreat by the River

Pōhatu, meaning stone in Maori, is a beautiful 1925 Arts & Crafts house built by one of regions wealthiest landowners. Lovingly restored in 2020, the guest room is self contained and absorbs the morning sun. Pohatu is located beside the Waimata River, on a 3000m2 section surrounded by mature trees and gardens which afford privacy for sitting outside with your favourite beverage. The property is a short walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

Cormorants Cove Beach House.

Cormorants Cove is on the Mahia peninsula which is on the undiscovered east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Cormorants Cove is sitting on the top of a cliff with unimpeded views of Gisborne and surrounding beaches. Some of the best surf breaks are within 5 minutes drive and family friendly swimming beaches are just as close. This is the place to come to do absolutely nothing, but relax and soak up the sun and the views.

Sanctuary Lodge - Cabin 1

Get away from it all and re-energise yourselves. Mahia offers safe swimming, fishing and walks. The cabin is located in private bush setting, overlooking Mahia Peninsula and two bays. Cabin 1 can sleep a couple in a queen bed and one child under 7. It has recently been renovated, we are aiming for a comfortable, relaxing, and cosy feeling. We do offer reduced rates for more than one night's stay, please ask for prices.

Classic kiwi beach front bach in Mahanga

Class kiwi bach situated right across the road from one of east coast's best surfing breaks. An awesome place to chill on the deck or couch and watch the surfers, or to get out there yourself. This fully fenced bach has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is ideal for families. Across the road the 8km golden sand beach has a rocky area with a stream running through it, great for crab hunting, shell collecting and dam building.
