Kayak #2: single Pescador kayak. * Launch the Kayaks from the bottom of our ridge. * For boats: the boat ramp is 1/4 mile on Riverton Rd. * Wood burning outdoor fireplace on the open deck. Enjoy one of the 3 decks. Inside: * 3 queen beds, 1 bathroom, Central AC and heat, fresh bedding and towels, equipped kitchen. * Excellent WiFi at the cabin but cell service is spotty. Use WiFi calling.

The Owl's Nest will be your next home away from home! Tucked away at the end of a dead-end gravel road, you'll find our perfectly secluded A-frame with all the amenities you'll need for a little R&R. Enjoy an evening with friends/family by the fire pit, or a daytime adventure down to the lake by way of walking trail and take the kayaks out on the water. We are also just a short drive to some great attractions such as: Cummins Falls State Park, Standing Stone State Park, and numerous marinas surrounding the beautiful No. 1 Houseboat Lake on the Continent, Dale Hollow.

We welcome you to our country cabin, a wonderful place for a couple’s getaway or quiet corner all to yourself. Enjoy the clean, country air and starry night skies away from city lights; on a quiet, low traffic road facing woods and farmland with field, pond, and forest behind. We are just across the field from a working dairy farm and less than a mile from the dairy farm store and creamery where you can find fresh meat, eggs, milk, and some of the country’s best hand-dipped ice cream!

This little tree house is primitive with no electricity and no water but has a bath house nearby. This is tent camping in a tree house. Located behind the historic R.M. Brooks Store, it is the perfect place to find peace and beauty . Perfect for hikers. Rest in the huge branches of this nearly 100 year old Oak Tree. A Queen bed awaits you for your restful nights sleep. Underneath you can picnic at the table or swing in the swing that hangs below. This is the perfect place to unplug.
