Halfway between the Monterey Peninsula and Santa Cruz, the Dunes Colony is a precious secret awaiting discovery by those lucky enough to experience raw, unfiltered beauty on the sandy shores surrounding Monterey Bay. “Sea Bird” is a newly renovated, single-level condominium where our guests can live luxuriously while listening as the Pacific Ocean sighs eternally just outside, its grandeur framed by wall-length windows in the main living area.

A beautifully secluded area (40+ acres) surrounded by natural beauty with lovely views of Elkhorn Slough and the Pacific Ocean, away from the maddening crowd. Yet, accessible to Carmel / Pebble Beach / Santa Cruz. A variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, bicycling, kayaking, golfing and whale watching. A full breakfast is served daily. It should also be noted it is a gated property and the home is accessed through a dirt / gravel private country lane which is 0.75 mile from the gate.

Shared bath. Not suitable for children or pets. THIS ROOM IS LOCATED ON THE SECOND FLOOR (STAIRS). Self check in. We are offering a light take away snack of coffee/tea, fruit, yogurt, breakfast bars to get your day started. Guest fridge, kettle and microwave are available for use in the back porch. The main kitchen is closed to guests. We do live here so some family noise/scents around meal times to be expected. Small animals live on property.

You will love the king size movable platform bed, the Hot Tub with an ocean view and the easy parking for several cars. Only a 10 minute drive to Cannery Row, and the Aquarium. The Beach, Golfing, Diving, Fishing, Hiking are a just a few minutes away as well.
