The diverse local fauna attracts significant bird life - making the panoramic view perfect for bird watching.

Explore the Kruger National Park from multiple gate entries - the closest of which is just a short 30-minute drive away. Relax in the pool with a cocktail to the sounds of the bush, and slow down in style.

Penzhorn Rest Cottage

This modern two-sleeper cottage is nestled in the heart of the bush along the Olifants River just 25km outside Hoedspruit. This "Peace" of Africa brings tranquillity with the soothing river and daily presence of various buck, birds and occasional sightings of hippo's and crocodile. Enjoy the custom-built "Bos Bad" to cool down or heat up (with a coal stove) overlooking a stunning river view, uninterrupted bush, beautiful sunsets, a starlit sky and the Milky Way at night. Wildheart Zesty Zebra is a luxury self catering getaway in the bush surrounded by free roaming game(giraffe, kudu, zebra, impala, wildebeest and more) in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, 5 minutes out of Hoedspruit where there are a variety of quality restaurants and shops. A beautiful 2 bedroom unit with a queen bed downstairs and two single bedrooms in a loft upstairs. Only suitable for one couple or a family with 2 children (above 5) due to the stairs and one bathroom.

So named for the magnificent tree towering over the fire pit, Seringa features three platforms – an entertainment deck, a sleeping deck and a bathroom deck offering a romantic outside bath facing the hills of the GaMashishimale, in the Selati game reserve in the distance.
