Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

This newly renovated 2 bdrm 1 bath cottage is on Tensaw Island. The island is a private gated community. There is plenty of room to spread out and relax on the screened in porch or large platform deck. This is the perfect place if you love to kayak, fish or just want to spend the day on the Tensaw river or hangout on Gravine Island. With just being an hour drive from Gulf Shores/Orange Beach there are endless possibilities for recreation, food, and entertainment.

Between the Beach & the Lagoon - across the street is the ocean & behind the house is the lagoon; it's the best of both worlds. FYI: pool heating costs extra: $50 per day (for 8 hours of heating - you pick the hours). You're welcome to use the Green Egg grill. We rent kayaks, a paddle board & a jet ski too.
