The western touches and wood ceiling in this tiny bunkhouse create a cozy getaway. It is the perfect stop and stay while exploring the Badlands National park . There are 3 campsites next to the bunkhouse, between the bunkhouse and hwy 73. There may be travelers coming thru or local workers as neighbors. Window AC in the summer.

Dexter Peak cabin, elegantly rustic near YNP/Chico

Dexter Peak Cabin is located near the base of the mountains on a 25 acre parcel shared with our home but still private. Close to Livingston, Chico Hot Springs, Yellowstone River, waterfalls, hiking and fishing, and 35 minutes to Yellowstone Park. Cabin is located about 200' from owner's home but the outdoor areas are oriented away from the home and toward the mountains. Little to no traffic as we are a couple with no kids. Dexter Peak Road is a great road for walking!

Cozy Cottage

Cozy Cottage is the perfect place to relax after a day of traveling. Kadoka is a TINY (population 600) safe and quiet town on the edge of the Badlands. You will be 20 miles from the entrance to the Badlands National Park, 35 miles from Wall drug and 90 Miles from Rapid city/Black Hills. We are a rural community so eating out is limited to subway and gas station food. Please keep this in mind as you travel!
