Welcome to the Treehouse! No, it's not actually a house in a tree, but you get to enjoy the completely remodeled home thanks to the tree that fell through it! Need a place to relax for a few days? Maybe coming to visit friends/family but don’t want TOO much quality time with your loved ones? Come slip away to this cozy, beautifully remodeled home away from home. Experience this "ole" west one of a kind cabin and go back in time to the early 1900s. Take a soaking bath in the cowboy brothel type tub. Get a laugh seeing a recreated outhouse bathroom but with a modern toilet. Enjoy eating on a chuck wagon tabletop. Additionally, sit by an open firepit and make complimentary s'mores all while gazing at the galaxy of stars, watching the wildlife, and viewing our cattle during the day. Molly our gentle jersey may even let you pet her at the fenceline.

About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. We can always see water from our property, but the water’s edge is out past the trees. Great for a walk in the lakebed! also, please check out our neighboring property, Shades of Blue!
