Charming Home Getaway near Sunday River & Hikes

Our place is a great getaway for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. The house is fully equipped dishes, silverware, pots and pans. We are located right in the historical town of Rumford. Hannaford Grocery - 5 minutes away Walmart - 10 minutes away Black mountain ME - 9 minutes away Sunday River - 25 minutes away Mount Abram - 30 minutes away Sugarloaf Mountain - one hour and 20 minutes away And many more mountain resorts around the area.

Your Maine Base Camp

You have full access to this spacious house. Enjoy the large kitchen with a food prep island, ample counter space, basic cookware utensils and ingredients for cooking and baking. The dining room table comfortably seats eight. Relax in the living room with a TV monitor for streaming your preferred services, comfy furniture, and a pellet stove. One bedroom is on the ground floor and two upstairs. Living room is 4 steps down from other ground floor areas. There are no TV monitors in bedrooms.

Skiers Get-Away (1 BR near AT - w/views)

This newer House has a private 1-BR above-the-garage with a private back-entrance with a Living-room, Full Kitchen with a 2-person island, Large Bath with double-wide shower and a large BR w/ views of Sunday River as well as Mahoosuc Notch. Perfect for a two-person get-away, in the Western Mountains of ME. Great for Winter Sports at Sunday River, or Mt. Abrams, outdoor activities or quick-access to downtown Bethel. Contains a full kitchen for meal prep, as well as high speed internet, and climate control.

One mile from Route 26! Charming apartment with private locked entrance and separate driveway attached to historic 1880s farmhouse in the foothills of Western Maine. Clean and cozy, it has one bedroom with a queen bed and two sofa sleepers which make it a great spot for a couple or a family of four. We're only fifteen minutes to Mt. Abram and 30 minutes to Sunday River. There's easy-access to snowmobile trails and Moose Pond right across the road. Oxford Casino is 30 minutes south.

The treehouse is abutted by 626 acres of Bucks Ledge Community Forest (7 miles of hiking/snowshoeing trails accessible from the treehouse).

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). In season you can enjoy fresh vegetables from our gardens.

Come to a cozy mtn getaway (private separate entrance apt within the host's home) nestled in the foothills of the Mahoosuc Range with a view of the White Mtns. In winter, enjoy the hot tub aprés ski, and in warm months enjoy the shaded patio or the apt's naturally cool interior. Outdoor & dining destinations are within as few as ten minutes. Since there is no traditional oven or stove, guests are welcome to safely use their own portable grill on the patio.
