Located on the edge of the Lake District, tucked away in the old part of Great Broughton, on a quiet lane just off the Main Street with lovely walks along the River Derwent right from the doorstep & views over the river & western fells. Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

The mews is one of 3 holiday houses in a terrace, located up a private driveway. Beautifully renovated for 2022. The accommodation is ideal for families, as well as walkers, bikers and cyclists. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

Toddell Barn forms part of our traditional Lakeland longhouse farm, built in approximately 1710. Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
