The house was built by the Kelsey family in the 1930s after seeing the house featured in the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and has been completely renovated. Views of the lake from almost every room. This cozy cottage is close to snowmobiling, hunting, trails, mountain biking, state land and nature. The home is great for couples and families with kids. Enjoy the in-the-woods setting with a view of beloved Chippewa Lake, which is within walking distance. Access Chippewa Lake through the DNR launch, which is a turn off of our private road and within walking distance to our cottage. Take the whole family swimming at the public swimming area with sandy swim area, picnic tables, and bathroom!

Take a step back in time and enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway. Red Pine Cabin is secluded and set back 3 acres along the drive. Although there isn't much room to roam on the property itself, there is access to the Pere Marquette Rail Trail only a short drive North. The cabin is just off the highway in farm country, and is described as peaceful with a cozy interior. You may however hear some road noise if you are relaxing outside. The small town of Barryton is located a mile to the South
