The Nest, a mountainside retreat

The Nest is tucked into a grove of hemlocks, high above the creek and valley below. All types of vehicles have made the trek up the driveway, but we recommend 4-wheel drive. The seclusion of The Nest is unmatched and this tiny modern marvel comes with all you ask for, and so much more. Less than 25 min to downtown Asheville and minutes from the quaint mountain towns of Marshall and Mars Hill. Enjoy activities like hiking, skiing, and zip lines. There was no damage to our property from Hurricane Helene, we are open. Unique 450 sq ft studio space with attached greenhouse and detached outhouse (compost toilet). People love the cozy feel of custom woodwork and natural light that gives Orchard the intimate appeal of a home, that is also a personal retreat. Folks have described the place as ‘perfect’ and ‘dreamy’. Orchard is 22 minutes drive to Asheville and close to nature. Very cozy for one or two, even a small family on a trip
