Scenic Point Cottage @ the Heights

The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

Our cheerful, quiet and private a-frame style cabin is only 25 miles from the Buffalo National River with canoeing, swimming, and other activities. It is 6 miles from the Richland Creek Wilderness and about 8 miles from Falling Water creek, and 12 miles from Richland Creek Campground where the trail head starts for Richland Falls and Twin Falls. It is 25 miles from Marshall, 45 miles from Clinton and Walmart. We are only 1.5 hours from Branson MO, or Eureka Springs AR, or Ponca AR.

Very quiet, private 1 bedroom cabin with seasonal views of the Little Buffalo River. Fully equipped kitchen. Access to beach and seasonal swimming hole. A perfect romantic get away. There is also a sleeping area separate from the house available for an additional cost if you want to bring an extra guest or two. This cabin sits on 68 secluded acres near the Buffalo National River, mid-America's premier canoeing/kayaking destination. We are located near Buffalo Point in the lower Buffalo River section. Be sure to review driving directions as navigation apps are not always reliable in this area. You will drive approx. 4 miles on maintained gravel road. There is not a more comfortable cabin for rent in the Ozarks. Give us a try -- you will not want to leave!
