Praia situada num local que antigamente era usado como cais pelos barcos rabelo que transportavam as pipas de vinho entre as quintas e as caves de Vila Nova de Gaia. Fica a 40 km do Porto. Mais recentemente foi foi foi pintado um mural pelo artista @mrdheu da muito conhecida CARMEN MIRANDA , nascida em Várzea de Ovelha e Aliviada, Marco de Canaveses, Maria do Carmo Miranda da Cunha. Mais conhecida como Carmen Miranda.
