Casa Luna, Desert Retreat

Casa Luna was originally built as a yoga studio. Accommodations include: privacy, and space for an immersive desert experience with excellent star gazing. Located less than two miles west of the Terlingua Ghostown, this space offers unobstructed views of the Chisos Mountains, a full kitchen, and full separate bathroom. A 1,400 square foot open studio space with three queen sized beds accommodates six people comfortably. Not suitable for mobility impaired, or children under 12. We live on site.

Our campsite is located on the hill behind Terlingua Ghost Town, 1/2 mile from Restaurants and shopping. Campfires are allowed. We have a composting toilet on the campground and an outdoor shower available. The view from your campsite is a 360 degree panoramic view of the Big Bend region complete with a sunrise over the Chisos and a sunset in the Chihuahuan desert of Mexico. The road to the campsite is unpaved. Take it slowly, any car will make it. One tent per site, please. Tent not included.

Beautifully renovated, modern and comfortable 27’ 2001 Airstream on 40 private acres. Two air conditioners and heaters, full kitchen, and bathroom. The deck has an outdoor kitchen, couch, and a propane fire table. Modern detached bathhouse with indoor and outdoor showers. Occupancy is limited to 4 adults. No pets.
