Anchor cottage, an Historic Home and now with EV charger, is a delightful period, cottage situated in the heart of The Anchorage, once known as Mersea City on Mersea Island. It has three bedrooms, a large double, a twin room and a downstairs single bedroom. The bathroom is on the ground floor and large sitting/dining room with a gas heater and provides plenty of space for five people indoors and there is a private, wrap around garden with BBQ area that enjoys the sun at most times of the day.

Located in the historic and picturesque Anchorage area of beautiful Mersea Island the house is in a quiet and tranquil lane, with the sea a moments distance away. 50 Yards at the end of the lane turn left for pubs and restaurants and turn right to find the sea wall, with opportunities for bird watching and scenic dog walks. The property sleeps 5/6 people and has an enclosed garden with seating and bbq, there is also a large lockable shed for any outdoor equipment.

Perfectly located in a peaceful haven, only a 5 minute walk to Maldon's high street with it's vast array restaurants, cafes and bars as well as many boutique shops. Beautiful walks from Maldon including Beeleigh falls. There is also the renowned Maldon Promenade to visit. Offering a self contained annexe split over two floors. A beautiful large farmhouse, dating from approximately 1600 and listed Grade II, in acres of idyllic gardens and overlooking a mile-wide river estuary. There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!
