All cabins have water views from your sheltered deck and are footsteps away from a communal cook space. Our central location is a PERFECT start for day tripping around the island and you are just footsteps away from North River Kayak Tours. Our renovated 1910 farmhouse situated in the peaceful neighborhood of South Bar, about 10 minutes north of downtown Sydney, is sure to soothe the soul. Enjoy walks along the rocky beach, pick berries on the land or just unwind on the deck watching the sunset. The recently built lookout point at the water's edge provides views of Sydney harbor and North Sydney with sunsets that you won't soon forget. Just a 10-minute drive from downtown Sydney, this is a great home base to explore Cape Breton.

Welcome to Beechwood Nature Stays! This 676 sqft waterfront Lake Cottage has a modern rustic interior that will make you feel comfortable & super cozy during your stay! Relax in your own private luxury hot tub attached to the large cottage deck. Experience the unique outdoor rainfall shower, explore the lake with provided kayaks, hike the private trail to a water cascade & finish the day unwinding under the stars while having a lakeside bonfire! Discover what Sable Point Cottage has to offer: a timeless experience in nature that combines comfort & minimalism within one location. The simple, yet upscale layout, is comforting on the eyes & mind. Its adventurous setting, fitted with its unparalleled views, will conjure up excitement when you arrive. A boulder-studded wall rises up towards a stone walkway, which is fitted with an integrated fire pit. The outdoor hot tub & seasonal outdoor shower are located next to the cottage deck.

Welcome to “Point Beithe” (birch point in Gaelic). This beautiful home sits on its own point surrounded by 180° of Mira River waterfront age. You will also enjoy access to your own small private island that is connected by a shallow sand bar. Sit out on the large deck or floating dock to enjoy the views of the river, launch kayaks, paddle boards, and swim. We have signed up for the strongest internet service offered in the area (Starlink). Cellular reception is not great in the area.

A Hütte is a grand A-frame cottage perched on a hill overlooking your private 200’ of waterfront. A Hütte was built in 2023, with all the modern styling appreciated by the discerning travelers. It offers rugged, historical natural beauty surrounding the 3.5-acre property and area. Inside: enjoy the fireplace in the open concept expansive living room with towering windows overlooking the ocean waterfront. Outside: 3 decks, and a large yard with a easy walk down to the ocean.
