Take it easy at this secluded, waterfront cabin near beautiful Magnolia Beach. Fish or launch kayaks from your front yard. This rustic property is located down a dirt road that can be very difficult to access when it rains a lot. 4x4 vehicles recommend. During dry times, the road is fine. Wildlife of all kinds are sometimes seen, many species of birds, bobcat, deer, and sometimes snakes. Alligators live in Old Town Lake, much like any body of water in South Texas. Swimming not recommended.

Only 200 yards from the boat ramp, this cozy cottage has amazing views of Matagorda Bay with a patio to enjoy the sunrise. Five miles down Magnolia Beach is Indianola Fishing Marina, which has a bar and restaurant with great food, and a fishing dock.

Welcome to the Blue Crab Cottage. Built in 2024, the Blue Crab Two replaces our beloved original Blue Crab. Your days will start with colorful Matagorda Bay sunrises and equally spectacular Powder horn Lake sunsets. The 360 degree views from the crow's-nest, are a favorite for bird and dolphin watching. Fish the bay out front or lake in the back. Just a few yards away, the Indianola Courthouse monument and Cistern monument are remainders of the catastrophic hurricanes of historic Indianola.

There is a free boat ramp nearby and another in Magnolia Beach- and yes, we have room for your boat.
