The Knotty Pine Loft is the upper level (700 sf) of our garage/guest building. Up a flight of stairs you'll find a pine paneled kitchen & living room, private bedroom, and 3/4 bath. Loft windows overlook the pine-oak woods, a tamarack marsh, and 300 yds away is Spooner Lake . Note: The Knotty Pine Loft was named the Lakeview Loft, but after a windstorm downed a number of big trees, new birch and red oak treeshave grown up and lessened the view of the lake. The view returns in the winter!

Welcome to Hunt Hill Nature Center! We are a public, non-profit learning center and nature sanctuary. Our historic Log Cabin is nearly a century old and offers a peaceful retreat in the woods. All the furniture was updated in 2018. The Log Cabin is located just outside of the main camp, settled on top of a hill overlooking pristine forest habitat. The Cabin for Two sits at the end of a private road on a small wilderness lake, surrounded by county forest. Wildlife is part of daily life here. Loons call across the water, swans and other waterfowl pass through, and deer regularly move through the yard. In the warmer months, bears occasionally travel through the area.

The "Gatekeeper" cottage has a natural gas stone fireplace in the living room, Full size sofa sleeper, full kitchen, full bath on the main floor and a half bath in the sleeping loft. (Need to be able to climb ladder stairs to lofted bedroom). A spiral staircase leads you down to the lower level which has an additional bedroom, queen sofa sleeper in the extra living room space, and full bathroom. The lower level also has a walk out french door to the patio area.
