Nearby are the National Trust properties & parks of Felbrigg & Blickling.

The7HARES is so named because hares in the Buddhist tradition symbolise peace and tranquility along with the fact that owners saw 7 hares playing in the nearby fields!! Scarrowbeck House is a stunning detached house, recently lovingly renovated to combine style, luxury and comfort. Hanworth has the largest and one of the last remaining enclosed commons in England with grazing cattle, covering 35 acres and borders the privately owned Gunton Park, a 1,000-acre deer park, home to the award-winning Gunton Arms.

Nestled in the trees with stunning views down into a hidden, valley. Binoculars are provided to enjoy the Barn Owls, Kites, deer, foxes, badgers, rabbits, hares and squirrels that inhabit the valley. The all wood lodges have been hand built by local craftsmen; the fixtures, fittings, and beds are made from a specific species of 'wanet edged' wood. A fully fitted kitchen, mood lighting and a wood burning stove complete the cabin-in-the-woods romance of these gorgeous luxury hideaways.

The Old Farm Office.

A peaceful getaway for two, we can cater for special occasions on request. It's a great base to explore Norfolk's beautiful countryside. Its location is very convenient being close to Norwich, Norfolk Broads & only a few miles away from the popular coastal towns of Cromer, Sheringham with stunning beaches. The Old Farm Office is private and fully self-contained; guests have their own entrance to a hall, separate fully fitted kitchen, shower room, lounge/bedroom and private garden.

National Trust properties are a short drive away, as well as the wealth of beautiful Norfolk beaches and Cromer Pier (with its pier shows and famous Cromer crabs).

Our cosy, dog-friendly cottage in Briston, Norfolk is the perfect countryside retreat for couples. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a snug living room with a fireplace. Traditional steep, twisted stairs add character but may challenge guests with mobility issues. With parking, gardens and direct field access, plus a pub 100 m away and the Norfolk coast nearby, it’s an ideal place to unwind.
