The Drey; Luxury Holiday Cabin With Hot Tub & Fire

Set in the Northumberland National Park, this attractive wooden cabin has been fully renovated inside with plenty of little touches to make our guests feel right at home. Sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms (one a kids room) the property is located on the edge of a small lodge park in Otterburn with woodland walks and plenty of wildlife on the doorstep; including our neighbourly red squirrels! The cabin has a wood burning stove, hot tub and extended deck to the front, and pubs and a general store nearby.

You may recognise the cabin from New Lives In The Wild With Ben Fogle, he spent a week staying here recently. We hope like him you'll love the tranquility it offers. We made the cabin from a used 20ft shipping container. It’s off grid with its own simple 12 volt lighting, no WiFi. There’s board games, a wood burning stove, huge bed, hot shower & compost loo. Situated 1/5 mile down a private forest track, surrounded by nature. Leave the hustle & bustle behind & come switch off. Sorry, no dogs

Our cosy and modern (it has electricity and running water, fridge) shepherd’s hut has two rooms- perfect for couples or small families.
