Whether you need a country getaway or a place to lay your head after a football game, our cottage in the foothills of upstate SC is the perfect spot for both. You’ll find us tucked away just outside the quaint little town of Six Mile, 10 miles north of Clemson University and in close proximity to 3 of the upstate's favorite lakes: Lake Keowee, Lake Jocassee and Lake Hartwell. Here you’ll enjoy the serenity of country life without feeling “too far out" or away from all the upstate has to offer.

Secluded Waterfall Cabin.

Romantic, rustic cabin at the base of a 35-foot waterfall, nestled in the middle of 16 secluded acres surrounded by national forest that extends to the Chattooga River. This magical get-away caters to those with an adventurous spirit. Hike from the cabin to additional waterfalls, bike down Turkey Ridge Road to Opossum Creek Trail and the Five Falls or drive two miles to the Chattooga Belle Farm. The Waterfall Cabin is a joy to us all, and we hope you love it as much as we do. No cleaning fee.

LOFTS OVER MAIN ~ Walhalla Studio

Step back in time into this 1890's shop-keepers' homes turned to Lofts Over Main, where you can sleep under the sheets and over the streets. If you love vintage, rustic, yet minimalistic and modern, then come experience 1890's architecture here at the Lofts Over Main. Formerly downtown shop-keepers homes, now the whimsical, upscale lofts are located just minutes from your next adventure. The Lofts were completely renovated in 2017 for guests to enjoy main street living in Walhalla, SC.

The Extra House

We have a comfortable Extra House we call it. Extra cozy extra cute Extra House. The house is right on the Tallulah River in Towns County. There is fishing/swimming hole about 100 ' up river and a waterfall up a trail behind the Big House about a 30 minute hike up and back. Longer if you jump in the falls. Trout fishing out the door and 6 miles of fishing along the main road. We have a 250' zipline into a swiming pond or get off before the water. Lots of hiking trails and waterfalls.

Waterfall Views, Lake Hartwell, Highland Architect

Come and enjoy nature with 100+ acres to roam. Architect James Fox designed this cantilevered cliffside home overlooking a beautiful waterfall. Feel like you are in the trees, in an area much as it was when inhabited by Cherokee Indians. Stream feeds into Lake Hartwell. In the summer months on the weekends and holidays kayaks, jet skis and small boats visit the falls. This property is in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Please respect our pet policy, only service animals.

Squirrel Run Retreat

The perfect couples retreat. Beautiful guest house with long range mountain view. Vaulted ceilings, outside deck overlooking seven mountains. Area has small paved road winding through the woods. Great for your daily walks. Community is bordered by the Warwoman Wildlife Management Area. 2 miles from the center of town in a quiet mountain top community. The perfect home base for hiking, fishing, bird watching, boating, river rafting, shopping, dining and just chilling out.

Tranquil Chauga River Getaway

Tranquil Chauga River Getaway offers a clean, safe, quiet retreat on beautiful Chauga River. There is a private dock that offers fishing and access by boat to Lake Hartwell. Multiple private decks provide river views, as well as, wildlife like ducks, blue herring, birds, and the occasional beaver. Private, dead end road access means minimal traffic. Area provides activities like waterfalls, hiking, kayaking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing pier, rafting, sightseeing, etc.

BRAND NEW 490 sq ft tiny house/cottage nestled in the woods in a country setting. Complete with a queen bedroom, a twin/day bed and then a queen bed in loft ( comfortably sleeps 4 adults and one child). We are conveniently located 10 miles from I-85 exit 1 on S Hwy 11. 20 minutes from Clemson, 8 minutes from Seneca, and just a short drive to many hiking trails, lakes and parks in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains.
