Music walking tour of London's Soho
All groups will meet outside the Dominion Theatre at Tottenham Court Road underground station and go on a 2.5 hour walking tour of Soho. Along the way we shall visit the famous street where the Rolling stones recorded their first album and David Bowie lived in a caravan.
We’ll see where the Sex Pistols squatted, not forgetting where Elton John got his first ever job as a tea boy!
Moving on to the venue that Brian Epstein, manager of the Beatles, took over and put on the legendary Jimi Hendrix one fateful night in 1967!
It's then onto Soho square where you will learn how Charles II had an impact on pubs and drinking alcohol ! See where Paul McCartneys business headquarters are.
See where Prince played 2 secret gigs in one night and even see where a young Mozart lived. British RocknRoll began at this coffee bar which is just round the corner to arguably the most famous of London music venues. Not forgetting one of Londons famous music venues, where nearly every major artist has played!
Stand in the spot where the Oasis album cover was taken before moving onto the studio where David Bowie recorded Hunky Dory.
We will then finish in an beautiful old, historic English pub, which has had many famous guests over the years, where I will tell you stories of my personal involvement in the music business!
My tour is also great for groups and great for team building.
Pub Tour of Notting Hill & Kensington
We’ll take a guided tour of the most interesting and characterful pubs in London's Notting Hill and Kensington. We’ll venture away from the tourist routes and explore the backstreets, where the local people drink. These are the same pubs that I still enjoy visiting with my friends and they are well known for their fine beers and good food.
We’ll sample the wide variety of wonderful, British, traditional, full-flavoured cask ales (the original craft beers) and modern craft beers that are on offer and experience the friendly atmosphere of these unique establishments.
NB. Other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, will also be available.
Marvel at the immaculately maintained Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture of these charming neighbourhoods. Spot the numerous blue plaques, identifying the one-time residences of persons of historical interest, such as the detective novelist and playwright, Agatha Christie and American poet, Ezra Pound, and see the home where the triple-Oscar-winning actor, Daniel Day-Lewis, was born. Savour the abundant varieties of plants and trees, as well as the wonderful architectural diversity of the local churches, as we walk between pubs, in what are arguably the most stunningly beautiful neighbourhoods of inner London.
This is a highly social experience, so bring a SENSE OF HUMOUR and an OPEN, FRIENDLY AND POSITIVE ATTITUDE!

Day trip from London to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge & Bath
Beyond London, you will immerse in different stories and vibes of top famous places in England including Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath in 1 day.
• Windsor Castle
In this royal residence at Winsor, we will go through the lavish State Apartments to discover the King’s Rooms, Queen’s Rooms or world-famous artworks. And visit St. George’s Chapel, the final resting place of King Henry VIII or Queen Elizabeth II and the setting for many royal weddings.
• Stonehenge
Was Stonehenge a temple for sun worship, a healing centre, a burial site or perhaps a huge calendar? How did our ancestors manage to carry the mighty stones from so far away and build this remarkable structure using only the most primitive of tools? Surrounded by mystery, Stonehenge never fails to impress us.
• Bath
Lastly, we will explore the first city in England to be designated an UNESCO World Heritage site. The gorgeous Georgian architecture of Bath Abbey or romantic Pulteney Bridge will linger on in the memory of your day.
Especially, you cannot miss Roman Baths, the preserved bathing complex still flowing with water from Britain’s only hot spring. Be ready to marvel at the dazzling torch–lighting ceremony as dusk falls (not applicable in summer) and have a sip of Bath’s waters in the Pump Room adjacent to the Roman Baths.

You'll need a camera—a camera phone works well—with spare batteries, memory cards, and comfortable clothing.
Jewish London, 1000 Years of History
This walk covers almost a thousand years of Jewish history. From the arrival of a Jewish community from Normandy in 1066/67 to the Kindertransport children of 1938/39, Jews have played important roles in the unfolding drama of British history. On our journey from Bank to Liverpool Street we will encounter the Jews of mediaeval London, the unfortunate Jewish doctor who inspired the creation of Shylock, Queen Victoria’s favourite Prime Minister, the Jewish stockbroker who saved the British economy during the 1745 Jacobite rising, the Protestant rabble-rouser who became an Orthodox Jew and other colourful characters. We will visit some of the most spectacular sites in the City. We will also reveal the little-known Jewish associations of some of London's most famous landmarks. This tour is designed as an interactive experience, so feel free to ask questions or add your own insights and information.
Other things to note
Wear clothes and shoes that are comfortable for walking.

Our tour begins at the world-famous London Bridge, a site of cold-blooded murder and humiliation for London's executed criminals. Led by your fearless guide you will experience the blood-curdling history behind London's iconic landmarks The Tower of London, The Monument, and North Bank. Then, if you are feeling brave, we will head into the back streets of east London to uncover the tales of murder and disease that lie in wait for you between Aldgate and Whitechapel.
On this tour, you won't just hear about Jack the Ripper, the Plague, the Great Fire of London, and the brutal treatment of London's criminals (which we all want to hear about of course), but also lesser known killers, the great smog, the London Beer Flood, the Kray twins, Phosey Jaw, and the famous Gunpowder Plot. Our tales will disturb, horrify and crack your sides with laughter.
Our inclusive, small tour sizes (groups limited to 10 people) provide the perfect experience for history fans, groups and families exploring London this Winter!

Explore backstreets with a historian
This walk follows government guidelines on combating covid to ensure guest safety.
This walk is a History of London and walk through time. We will walk around quiet backstreets from Westminster to Vauxhall discussing subjects as diverse as royal history, finance and British culture. We will visit a Georgian cathedral town and pleasure garden, a Victorian penal port and graveyard, a Bronze Age port and religious site, and a 21st-century city that is still under construction. You will be immersed in different historical periods and will hear about lots of gossip and scandal. This walk actively encourages your participation.
Other things to note
Bring sensible walking shoes and rainwear—this is an all-weather walk. I will provide hand sanitiser.
Occasionally some back streets are blocked off due to filming or local events taking place. When this happens or if guests have a particular interest in the History of the British Monarchy an alternative route/tour is offered which finishes in Trafalgar Square. Please ask if you are interested in this route/tour.
