Stabl Y Felin - a unique, eco stable conversion

Stabl Y Felin is a Grade 2 listed converted stable attached to a heritage corn mill, that has been lovingly restored using traditional skills and sustainable materials and furnishings. With it's 4.5m ceilings, the stabl comes with an airy bedroom with kingsize sleigh bed, en-suite with walk-in shower, sitting room with reclaimed kitchenette and breakfast bar, and a hayloft with a kingsize futon hidden on top for the brave. A peaceful, rustic, village getaway in the hills, 4 miles from the coast.

Our luxury lodges make the perfect short break getaway for a couple or family who want to enjoy this beautiful location with glamping bliss. We have 5 lodges available, each with their own decking area and private hot tub with a bespoke enclosure. Situated alongside our lake, overlooking the picturesque countryside, our lodges provide a peaceful retreat. Our luxury lodges are conveniently located near the Moody Cow, our on-site bistro and farm shop, as well as the Moody Calf, our play barn.

The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

Traditional Coastal Farmhouse Nr Aberaeron

Ffyllon Fawr is a south facing farmhouse built in the 1890's and has been sympathetically renovated and modernised recently. N.B To allow us to offer a reduced booking cost for a smaller number of guests bedrooms not requested and booked for are secured. The farmhouse is for the exclusive use of your group and not shared with other guests. The farmhouse is in an elevated position and overlooks the farmyard and the open countryside. A patio area to the side leads onto a sloping lawn.

West Wales cottage near the sea & enclosed garden

The Forge is a romantic character cottage for two, welcoming up to 2 dogs. Inside you’ll find a fully fitted kitchen, modern walk-in shower, and a wooden Japanese-style dipping tub. Upstairs is a cosy mezzanine nest-bedroom reached by a spiral staircase. Outside, a deck overlooks your private, fully enclosed dog-friendly garden, with peaceful views of woods and fields. Set in South Ceredigion, you’re a short drive from the rugged West Wales coast, quiet coves and sandy beaches.

Goitre Bach cottage

This cosy cottage is just a 20 minute walk from a small shingle beach at Gilfach-yr-Halen, which leads onto the Cardigan Bay Coastal Path walk. The Moody Cow restaurant, pub, farm shop and Soft play is situated within walking distance across the peaceful countryside. A perfect visit for those cold cosy nights by the fire or for a Summers evening sat out looking over the lake. There is a village store and petrol station within walking distance for groceries/newspapers/post office.

Stowaway on the cliff!

The Stowaway is located on the cliff in the beautiful fishing village of New Quay, right on the coastal path. Along with the spectacular sea views guests can enjoy relaxing on their private balcony whilst watching the dolphins play. Why not fire up the bbq provided for al fresco dining! With only a 5 minute stroll to the harbour and beaches guests can enjoy a variety of activities including wildlife boat tours, watersports and lovely reastaurants and pubs.

Unique self contained studio for two adults only

Studio accommodation part of a detached garage in private location with views over village and locality. Accommodation benefits from a compact fully equipped kitchen with an en-suite bedroom. Enjoy wifi access, television, and free tea and coffee. This is a loft space so head height restricted in certain places. Very tall prospective guests please take this into consideration before booking. Car parking, and access to pool table, and table tennis table.
