CasparCottage. is a charming quiet nicely appointed cottage that we built on our 5 private acres 3 miles from the ocean and 10 minutes from Mendocino or Fort Bragg. Walk to the WATERFALL in the Russian Gulch State Park from the cottage. We are at the eastern edge of the park. We've been sharing our cottage with guests for many years and have many guests that return year after year. It's a perfect place for a honeymoon, anniversary, special occasion or quiet retreat. We provide breakfast goodies!

Guests love the lush surroundings, peace & quiet-- an ideal retreat. Family- and LGBT-friendly.

6 acre Ocean Bluff Cottage -Dog friendly & EV

A rare and spiritual healing place with stunning oceanfront views from a 6-acre bluff paradise. Watch whales and bald eagles from the hot tub. The cottage is heated by propane and also has a wood burning stove. We offer the option of wine, flowers, rose petals on bed and balloons for wedding proposals, anniversaries, birthdays etc - ask for our price list. We are pet friendly and charge an additional $25 a day per pet up to 3 pets. There is a home 100 ft away that shares the 6 acres. No TV.

From the cottage, walk to the beach, or 5 minute drive to Mendocino.

This lovely cottage is directly on the Russian River with gorgeous views. We've kept the original 1909 charm of the main living space while adding many new amenities. Your oasis awaits. BEFORE BOOKING: Be aware that the cozy second bedroom is not attached to the house, it is accessed through the main bedroom and a just few steps across the deck. Whether you are nature lovers, riders, or want a quiet personal or romantic retreat, our place is ideal. Walking, hiking, biking trails abound right from the property. Tucked into a magnificent redwood forest the cottage has a gas fireplace, reading chair, futon couch, good lighting, desk, and dining table. The kitchen contains basic staples, including teas and fresh organic eggs from our hens. A large claw-foot tub is in the bathroom and a shower is on the secluded west facing deck.

Also just a few minutes drive are the Skunk Train, Glass Beach, the Noyo Headlands Park and Coastal Trail, MacKerricher State Park and Pudding Creek Beach.
