Trinity Island Lodge - your own private island

A private island to yourself, staying in an original stone walled lodge situated in 150 acres of forest surrounded by lakes which connect to the River Erne in County Cavan. 2 fishing boats included for up to 6 guests. Take in the view of the lakes and the 12th century Trinity Abbey. Enjoy the private walks around the island, following badger/deer trails, listen to the dawn chorus, meditate, read, write, take photographs, fish, take a trip by canoe, boat or float tube. Afterwards enjoy a sauna.

Lakeside Cottage is a cottage situated next to the rural village of Aughnacliffe Co.Longford. Suitable for Singles, Couples or Small families. We are next door to Leebeen Park with its beautiful playground and lake and a short 2 minute drive to scenic lakes of Lough Gowna. Lovely spot for fishing lovers and kayaking.1 Minute walk/drive tothe local pubs/shops and a short 5 min drive to nearby villages Arva and Lough Gowna. 15 minute drive to Longford Town and a 20 minute to Cavan Town centre.

At Hillside House we offer comfortable and peaceful accommodation just on the outskirts of the historic village of Ballinamuck County Longford. Our property boasts mature gardens, scenic views and lots of space for children and pets to explore. Our apartment has a fully functioning kitchen and living area. There is a traditional thatch roof pub just a 2 minute walk from our property which regularly hosts trad music. Ballinamuck holds a historic heritage whereby there is loads to see and do.

From the cabin you have a choice of views one direction the mountains and the other a beautiful view of Carrigallen town lake. Two minutes drive into Carrigallen, 12 minutes walk. Carrigallen has 5 pubs 2 takeaways and a lovely coffee shop. 2 shops both with deli counters. when your at the property it feels like your in the middle of the countryside no noise no light polution. There are lots of fishing lakes, walks, all within the area. mountains to climb a 35 minute drive away.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Warren Lodge

Warren Lodge is a beautiful spacious detached house in the village of Newtownforbes! Walking distance to all the amenities yet set in a quiet, peaceful location. Conveniently located 200 yards from the N4 road (Dublin-Sligo) and 5 mins from the N5 (West). Ideal base in the centre of Ireland for exploring the Midlands. Center Parcs is a 20 minute drive. Ground floor, king bedroom ensuite. Our comfortable 3 bed, 3 bathroom home is just a 10 min drive from Longford town.

Kitty’s Cottage, Ballinamore, Co.Leitrim

Kitty’s Cottage is located in the heart of Ballinamore town. What was once an old railway cottage has been lovingly restored into a modern and comfortable space to relax and unwind with family or friends. Plenty of dining places and pubs to choose from in and around the town. You can go hill walking on the beautiful Sliabh an Iarainn mountain close by. Try Western style riding in the Equestrian Centre, Drumcoura City, go fishing, play golf in the local golf course.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.
