The Bakery Flat is situated in the heart of Sutherland, in the village of Lairg. It is a central location for touring the Northern Highlands and is just 15 minutes off the NC500 route. It is an ideal flat for either a single traveller, a couple or a small family. There is a double sofa bed in the living area. Lairg has many amenities including 2 shops, a fuel station, a train station, post office, 2 restaurants, a pub, café and visitor centre. It also boasts forest walks and a beautiful Loch.

The perfect stop for those interested in walking, cycling or wildlife. This quiet and tranquil cottage is surrounded by magnificent scenery and wide-open spaces. In Sutherland you can enjoy fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

The Weavers Cottage, Dalmore, Rogart HI-00162-F

The Weavers is a traditional Croft cottage renovated in 2023 to an exceptional standard whilst retaining its original charm and character. Situated at the base of Dalmore Rock, it was built in the mid 1800’s from Dalmore granite. This cosy cottage is perfectly placed to explore the area, being only 15 minutes from the NC500 route and the Sound of Fleet nature reserve, and 20 minutes to Dornoch in the east. 15 minutes west takes you to Lairg the gateway to the west and north Highlands.

'Arkle' Cottage

Stone built semi-detached barn conversion situated on the outskirts of the village of Lairg which is known as the 'Crossroads of the Highlands'. It is part of a small group of houses in a secluded area backed by woodland area. Open plan kitchen/dining/lounge with log burning open fire. Easy walking to village amenities which include shops, restaurants, fuel station, Visitor Information Centre and fish and chip shop. Ideal for walking , fishing, touring, golfing holidays.

The Old Schoolhouse

Starting life as the school for the few local children back in the early 20th Century, the Old Schoolhouse was converted into a modest family home by our grandparents in 1962. They lived in this remote and beautiful part of Scotland during the spring and summer months and we would visit them every year in our school holidays. We have the best memories of our times spent at the Old Schoolhouse, it truly is a magical place and one we hope to now be able to share with others.

Easy walking distance to all village amenities like the Ferrycroft tourist information centre, forest walks, hotel with public bar, shops, and Pier cafe and restaurant.

We are a working Croft in the heart of the highlands overlooking Loch Shin, with views of Ben More Assynt. Where a warm welcome awaits you. Come and explore what Sutherland has to offer from walking, canoeing and cycling to fishing and a good game of golf all within easy drive. Spend the night in either Whisky or Skipper. One of our pods named after our dogs. Take a seat on the deck with a cuppa or a glass and watch the world go by.
