Pass through the electronic gate and private entrance and indulge in the complimentary snacks on the fold-out leaf table. Fine interior touches include antique heirloom artwork and a serving tray, while outside 2-level seating and a fire pit await. We follow rigorous cleaning and sanitizing protocols from the CDC during COVID-19. We ventilate rooms, wash hands frequently, wear gloves, clean, then disinfect with bleach or 70% alcohol. Our cleaning crew focuses on frequently touches surfaces, incl light switches, doorknobs, remote controls, and faucets, and wash all linens at highest heat. Attention to detail prevails throughout the apartment. The craftsman style space includes custom cabinets, high/vaulted ceilings, granite counter tops and walk-in closet. Established trees can be viewed from the master bedroom picture window and private deck which gives the space a tree house effect. The space can comfortably fit up to 4 guests. We will provide a variety of organic breakfast items including coffee, orange juice, milk, cream, half & half, cereal, fruit, yogurt and breads/pastries. Wine will be available upon request. There are a variety of farmer's markets and in the summer local concerts in the park. There is public transportation (buses) nearby. There is plenty of street parking. Brew some coffee and step out into a tiered hillside garden and have a seat on deck patio of this enchanting hideaway. Note: the TV is an Apple TV to be used with your subscriptions. The studio is the entire bottom floor of a 3 story house. It has its own separate access through the garden and is completely private from the rest of the house. A bathroom, kitchenette, dining/study area are included within your studio space. Laundry and Apple TV available upon request. Garden space and access is shared. Enjoy the deck and outdoor dining and lounging facilities as well as a gorgeous sunset view of LA. The entire bottom floor of the house is yours. Garden access is shared, as are the laundry machines in the main house. We are available at all times by phone, text or email. Bordering the neighborhoods of Eagle Rock and Highland Park, the area has an understated charm and offers an array of vibrant restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Old Town Pasadena, a retail hub with charming eateries, is a short drive away. It is a 0.4 mile distance to the nearest bus stop on La Loma and Figueroa. (about a 10 minute walk from the apartment) The 81 Bus can take you to the Gold Line Metro in Highland Park in less than 15 min. The Gold Line runs between Pasadena and Downtown, where you can transfer to other trains. Please let us know if you would like an Apple TV set up for your arrival or at any point during your stay.

The house is powered by solar array and Tesla batteries, so we won’t have a blackout even during power outages as long as not a lot of AC being used.
