The Empty Nest

The Empty Nest is awaiting guests who need some R&R, are in town for an event, or just need a change of scenery. We are 35 minutes from Notre Dame, 45 minutes to Warren Dunes, 15 minutes from IN State Line, and 20 minutes from Swiss Valley Ski Resort. The house is in close proximity to many all sport lakes, fishing lakes, snowmobile trails, public beach, and small town shops & restaurants. There are a few county parks near and a Casino within 15 minutes driving distance for extra entertainment!

Located on Diamond Lake in Cassopolis Michigan an all season spacious cottage suitable for everyone. Whether your wanting a quite weekend retreat or a family get together this cottage meets your needs. Large two story open concept with a loft, 2 private bedrooms, three full bathrooms, large 2nd floor with 2 king beds, 2 pull out couches gives you plenty of sleeping room. Large porch and second story balcony over look the lake. Full access to beautiful diamond lake, plenty of onsite parking.

A completely furnished apartment in the basement of our log home (our main residence) on 5 acres of woods above beautiful Shavehead Lake. Entrance into the apartment through a screened in porch and double French doors provides privacy and space to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor landscape. A large egress window allows natural sunlight into the bedroom on the opposite side of the wall from the kitchen/dining room/living room. High speed internet & YouTubeTV provide entertainment options.

The Cabin has a total of 420 sq ft living space with 280 sq ft on the ground floor and a 140 sq ft bedroom loft.
