Once a 1920's warming hut for trappers, this cabin has been transformed into a cozy retreat perfect for adventurers and travellers, only 10 minutes from downtown Terrace. With a simple open layout and memory foam bed, it is comfortable for couples or solo travellers. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric stove, mini fridge, and coffee maker, while the bathroom features a stand-up shower and heated floor. This cabin offers a unique mix of historical charm and modern comfort.

Bear Cabin at Rocky Ridge Resort

In our Bear Cabin you will find a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with indoor plumbing and one with a shower, an open little living room with a wood stove for frosty winter days, a separate bedroom with a queen size bed downstairs, one queen size and two single beds in an open loft upstairs. So up to 6 people can stay there. There is no cell-phone connection or internet and there is no power in the cabin, everything works with propane.  

Cozy A-frame Cabin.

Our cozy A-Frame cabin is located in a wooded suburban neighborhood across from our home and hobby farm. Just minutes from DT Terrace it offers a clean, comfortable space with a queen sized bed in the loft and full sized pull out couch below. Please be aware that the loft is accessible by ladder-like stairs as shown in the photos that are unlikely to accommodate your pet and may be difficult for very small children or people with mobility issues.

A few acres just minutes from Smithers downtown. The Cottage's vista views up to Hudson Bay peaks. Kathlyn Creek meanders through the property, making for a great summer and winter retreat. It may be a "wee" Cottage, but a kid's loft and en-suite bedroom make for a cozy getaway for a family of 4 or friends. Kids under 3 stay free. The kitchenette is stocked for your first couple of breakfasts, including daily fresh eggs.
