Homebush Cottage is part of the 130 year old former Homebush School, located on the Southern Scenic Route, 8kms from Darfield township and close to popular Skifields, Lakes and amazing tourist destinations, thus making us the perfect stopover. The cottage is set on 3 acres including beautiful rambling gardens and tennis court. The Cottage is super comfy and suitable for a couple. We provide a self catering breakfast including free range eggs from Brown Shavers so no need to worry about food !!

My place is close to great views of the Southern Alps and away from the hustle and bustle of city living. It is a peaceful country escape. 10 mins to Darfield & 20 mins to Rolleston, and 30 mins to Christchurch or Christchurch airport. My place is good for couples and families (with kids). We are only a few minutes away from the hot air ballooning and an hour from the ski fields. The nearest golf course is only 5 mins down the road with several others available in the Selwyn district.

Pretty country cottage. 25 mins drive from airport & 40 mins drive to Christchurch CBD. Ideal stopover for West Coast & Central Otago. Just 15 minutes from chch airport, 5 minutes to local shops and restaurants, 20 minutes into the town Centre and just over an hour to the ski fields this rural cottage is central to all your needs. 5 minutes up the road is the National Equine Centre and Mcleans Island which has walks, bike tracks, Orana Zoo and multiple paint balling and other activities. Walking distance to local wineries. The cottage is separate to our house, which is set on approx 10 acres of land.
