Forest Loft - Forest, Sauna, Ponds & Stargazing

The “Forest Loft” is a one-of-a-kind space surrounded by the old-growth trees of Kinghurst Forest. The 1,600-square-foot space sleeps up to four and features two Queen-size beds and linens, huge harvest table, indoor kitchenette with a stovetop and fridge, filtered water, shower, propane and wood stove heating, in-door basketball hoop, hammock, picnic table, a commercial grade BBQ, fire ring and access to two beautiful spring-fed ponds. Access to Finnish sauna for four is available on request.

Relax in an A-frame Cottage over looking a stocked trout pond surrounded by trees. 20 acres of trails. Fish swim, kayak or canoe in the pond or creek. Spend a starry night in the country with the comfort of a soft bed, a wood stove, and plenty of space both indoors and out. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

Folgate Bunkie at Essentially Lavender Farm

The Folgate Bunkie features a double bed, end table. lamp and small table. The unit is 10ft. x 10.5ft inside. Outside is a picnic table, two Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. It is tucked into the trees on a 96 acre lavender farm. You will have access to the lavender fields, trails throughout the property and river access for fishing, kayaking or canoeing. The property is 25 minutes from the beaches of Lake Huron. You are required to bring your own bedding - sheets pillows and blankets

The yurt is located on our 200 acre biodynamic farm in beautiful West Grey. Guest are welcome to walk around the property and enjoy being in nature. A cozy insulated space available all year round. This accommodation is rustic with newly constructed washroom facilities near by. A Farm experience is also available. Snowshoeing or skiing trails are nearby or on the farm. Spa (hot tub and sauna) is available for private booking for 2 people for a $125 extra fee

Bunkie in the Country

Now Open! Welcome! The bunkie has a great view of the sunrise. It's a quiet rural area (please note it is a GRAVEL road). Good for couples, solo adventurers, hunters, someone looking to be outside of town. The bunkie is located approx. 30 feet behind our home. For allergenic reasons and safety of animals, we do not allow pets. May not be suitable for those with mobility issues (small hill & stairs). The bunkie has heat and A/C!
