Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

Peppardstown House

Peppardstown House is an 18th century country house located 6km from the medieval walled town of Fethard with stunning views of the surrounding lush Tipperary countryside. We offer 3 bedroom self catering accomodation with open spacious living areas, full of character in a self contained wing of our home. We are ideally situated in the heart of Tipperary horse country and would serve as an ideal base for those wishing to explore the local historical gems of Fethard, Cashel, Cahir and beyond.

All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Six Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Bluebell Cottage is a beautiful 200 year old home built by the Dunraven family of Adare Manor as accommodation for some of their servants. Located just a few yards outside the entrance gate to the award winning, world famous Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort. The cottage has been completely transformed in 2023 in to a beautiful luxurious home beside all the amenities that the charming village has to offer.
