Safe boat/trailer parking with outlet. A late check out time may be arranged (for small fee). Possibly can unblock needed dates. Perfect for long term stays.

We are an accessible, family friendly, well-stocked hideaway in the country that has super quick access to all restaurants / shopping and other city amenities. If you need a date that is blocked or a short stay, please ask. We sometimes block dates for repeat guests and friends that may change. Tiny house is on site to rent for extra guests when available.

Lake House Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Enjoy swimming off the back deck, the ambiance of sitting on the many decks enjoying the beauty of the lake or just relaxing to watch the sunset. If the weather is cooler you may want to enjoy sitting around the gas firepit on the deck or the wood burning fireplace in the Sunroom! The one bedroom has a queen size bed and in the den a pull out sofa bed for two. Less than 10 minutes to downtown for all you shopping and great restaurants too!

Windmillhill, Efficiency apt.

A little heaven , tucked away at the back of 3 acres at back of our property. Cal and Carolyns little efficiency apt stays booked almost year round. Exceptionally clean and has every thing you need for a short weekend or an extended stay. Eff has full size kitchen and washer and dryer. It has two seating areas outside, one is covered and one under the stars and ambience lights around firepit. There is two grills provided, one gas and one charcoal to suit you. This apt has code pad entrance

Historic Loblolly Lodge at Ratcliff Lake

The Loblolly Lodge was built in 1940 by Mr. Taylor as a gathering place for his family. Remodeled in 2018, it now boasts of all the modern conveniences for a great getaway. With 2400sf of indoor living space & a 640sf covered back porch there is plenty of space for several families. The Lodge is nestled on 11 private wooded acres adjacent to Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area in the Davy Crockett National Forest which offers fishing, swimming, picnicking, and hiking for a small entrance fee.

Fresh farm eggs, Wagyu meat and fresh garden vegetables in season and you never know what might be smoking in the smokehouse or for sale. LOTS of parking for trucks & construction equipment!

Hidden Gem Cottages: Sapphire Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

Peaceful East Texas getaway

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited. Cozy Cabin by the Creek

Escape to our quaint, cozy cabin just 10 minutes from downtown Huntsville and 3 miles from The Blue Lagoon. Nestled next to one of two creeks on the property you can relax on the front porch, take nature walks, swim in Nelson Creek or sit beneath the pines and watch the stars at night from the private hot tub. The cabin is a studio setup with a comfy queen bed. The sun room has a daybed with a floor trundle. Coffee and bottled water provided.

The Ponderosa- Group and Family gathering place

The Ponderosa is perfect for family or group getaways. 2 night minimum. Sleeps 6 easily-more upon request for extra charge. Wander our 16 country acres or head out the back gate into the Davy Crockett National Forest. Enjoy your private spa, barbecue and kitchen or the community game room and fire ring. Limited WIFI is available in central areas. Parking is free. Bring your horses and dogs, $50 per pet per stay. Guests must sign a release.
