Trailheads and the East Branch Ausable River are easily accessible from the cottage. In Keene you’ll find locally-owned shops, markets, and cafes. We are 15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain, an Olympic Ski Resort and 15 minutes from Lake Placid.

You will be close to everything Keene Valley has to offer when you stay at this centrally-located apartment in the heart of the Adirondacks High Peaks Region. Located above the famous Noon Mark Diner and within walking distance to additional food and shopping, this bright, queen-sized 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment features a queen-sized pull-out sofa, an open loft with queen-sized bed, a dine-in kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, oven and toaster, and a large living room with a 55” TV and wifi.

Fountains Cabin

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin HAS NO SHOWER and a limited supply of 5 gallons of water. It is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.

The cabin is cozy in the winter with wifi, a fully equipped kitchen and modern amenities. You will enjoy the entire property to yourself in a truly serene setting.

Mountain View

Enjoy the fantastic views right from the living room or from the wrap around 2nd story deck. Situated on 200 acres of our family estate, enjoy total privacy high up on the mountain. Pets are welcome with a $100 pet fee. There is a security camera on driveway above the Forest Hideaway and Mountain View signs. It only see’s the driveway and is more than 300 yards from the house.
