Welcome to Somerville Lodge, a thoughtfully designed cottage with all the modern amenities you need to make the most of your relaxing getaway In Kawartha Lakes, under 2.5 hours from Toronto, our cottage sits on an acre of land along 350ft of the Burnt River, perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. A large deck has space for lounging, or relax in the hot tub. The large living room, dining room and kitchen give plenty of space for any family or group.

Crooked Cabin - Irondale River -Geocaching Capital

Located in the woods, watch the river flow by from any window, the porch or walk the trails. The main room has a leather loveseat, rocking chair and propane fireplace. The loft has a queen mattress. BBQ with side burner and all kitchen appliances are there. There is an outhouse. No shower. Wifi available on the property. Kayaks are accessed at The Nest which is the 2nd cabin (that you can't see). Firewood available for free. Incredible night skies. Space and privacy. A soul restoring getaway.

Hidden Acres - a Stay and Play Retreat!

Are you looking for some nature therapy? You'll be nestled in several acres of forest, where you can hear the birds and enjoy the private backyard. The hot tub and campfire* beckon in all seasons, and the heated inground pool is open from mid-June to Labour Day each year. We are dog friendly, but cannot accept other pets due to allergies. Located one hour from Toronto, Birchwood is a luxury camping experience for two. Immersed in a private forest on Scugog Island, our geodesic dome allows for a cozy and relaxing getaway. Enjoy the surrounding landscape and check out local shops and restaurants on Port Perry main street. Our geodome is designed for 2 guests however small families of 4 or a group 3 adults are welcome. Additional guests must be 12+ and added to your reservation at the time of booking. We do not allow pets.

The cabin homestead was crafted in 1847, before Canada was a country. With your significant other, family or friends, come cozy up to the fire, soak in the hot tub and enjoy swimming in the spring fed pond. Board games and movies are provided for your entertainment.

My whimsical & quaint cottage is 5klm from town which hosts a Foodland, LCBO, Pub, ice cream window and Home Hardware. Balsam Lake Provincial Park and Indian Point Provincial Park are close as well. I love my cottage because of the gardens, the chandeliers, the purple doors and the glorious clean river! The cottage itself is 900sq.ft. of cuteness & the property is 100 x200sqft. Canoeing, kayaking, bbqing, swimming, snorkeling and river floating are daily activities.
