The Maki House in Gwinn, MI, a recently renovated 1908 Company (miners') house, retains its early character with a 21st century industrial vibe. Radiant heat in the floors also provides unlimited hot water to the showers. There is ample parking on premises for snowmobiles and other sport vehicles. Both TVs have streaming apps, subscription to Disney+ is included with the rent. Grocery store four minutes by car, bar/pizza place, a seven minute walk. Various trails converge in this Model Town.

Newly finished July 2026, this brand-new Tiny House offers 372 sq. ft. A queen bed open to the living space at the same lev—no low-ceiling loft. There are 3 steps up to the porch and 1 step to the opened bedroom. Just 9 miles ( 12–15 min) from downtown Marquette, you’ll enjoy an extremely private, comfortable stay on our 30 acres of land on Big Creek and The Chocolay River. This tiny house features more than you’d expect, including a full bathroom with a flush toilet and a dishwasher.

Marquette, Duke Lifepoint Hospital and beautiful Lake Superior are a 12 mile drive. Sawyer International Airport is 9.5 miles. One hour away is the lovely town of Munising and the infamous Pictured Rocks. Bring your snowmobiles or your bikes! Marquette Mountain, 13.7 miles. Presque Isle, 14 miles. Upper Peninsula adventures away you!

Cozy Log Cabin In The Woods

This is a small log cabin located approximately 10 miles from downtown Marquette in a quiet neighborhood. Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.

Point of the Point - Lake Superior Waterfront

Built in 1974, this rustic and architecturally unique cabin is an all wood modified A-Frame nestled in the woods of the Upper Peninsula. Floor to ceiling windows and a lofted second floor allow natural light and gorgeous views of Lake Superior. Enjoy our sandstone swimming hole in the summer, or the cast iron wood stove in the winter. Located 20 minutes from Marquette and 30 minutes from Munising, our home offers a quiet place to relax and feel close to nature.

This home is centrally located in the U.P.. It's right down the street from the snowmobile and ATV trails (trail 8). It's surrounded by lakes and rivers and outdoor recreation of all kinds.
