As the guest house on our property of 5 acres, the cabin is privately located bordering vast public lands. Wander the property, hike the canyon trail, visit our four cheeky mini donkeys, & enjoy the wood-fired hot tub (or use it with fresh cold water!). We are a 10 minute drive from the West entrance of Joshua Tree National park and a 5 minute drive to the downtown shops, cafes and galleries. Desert Wild is a place to unwind, relax and enjoy the slow pace of the desert. We invite you to cool off in our pool after hiking, soak in our bath and enjoy the cactus garden, or star gaze from our hot tub at night.

Welcome to DTJT (Downtown Joshua Tree) your much needed High Desert escape. Our newly renovated homestead cabins rest on five acres of magical landscape. At DTJT you can swim in the 50' salt water pool, soak in the hot tub, hang by the firepit, hike, bbq, rekindle, stay up, sleep in, stargaze, explore, namaste it up, dance it off, soak up the sun, howl at the moon, listen to the owl, feed the roadrunner, take an outdoor shower, crush it at corn-hole, and yes, we have Wifi and cell service.

The cabin sits on 5 acres with 360 pano views, dark stargazing skies, breathtaking sunrises + sunsets, and endless desert beauty. This cabin was reimagined for those looking to reset and reconnect to their wildish nature.
