Hiihtoladut alkavat vain muutaman sadan metrin päässä. Ylläs ja Rovaniemi noin 100 km päässä. Lähimpään kauppaan reilu 6 km matkaa. Voit ottaa koko perheesi mukaan tähän upeaan kohteeseen, jossa on paljon tilaa hauskanpitoon. Mahdollisuus majoittaa myös muutama lisähenkilö, lapset huomioitu. Oma ranta ja paikka veneelle, voi kalastaa sekä talvella että kesällä. Kauppa 300 m, Ruotsi 1 km, Ritavaaran laskettelukeskus 7 km, Kittisvaaran ladut 2 km, suosittu latu saaren ympäri 400 m, rautatieasema 2 km ja keskustan kaupat 3 km. Kohteesta on helppo tehdä päiväretkiä: Rovaniemi 100 km, Ylläs 106 km, Levi 150 km, Svanstein 23 km.

Tervetuloa Miekojärvelle – aidolle Lapin kesälomalle puhtaan luonnon ja upeiden järvimaisemien äärelle. Nauti 200 metriä pitkästä yksityisestä hienohiekkaisesta uimarannasta, rantasaunasta suoraan järven rannalla sekä kesäkeittiöstä. Yöttömät yöt, järviuinti ja kalastus tekevät tästä täydellisen kesämökkikokemuksen – ilman ruuhkia. Sisällä talossa odottavat sauna, takka ja avara oleskelutila. Lapin rauha ja luonnon hiljaisuus aivan omalla rannalla. Täydellinen irtioton paikka arjesta.

Villa Äkäsjoensuu

Tunnelmallinen hirsimökki Äkäsjoen rannassa. Mökin ikkunoista pääset seuraamaan virtaavaa jokea, jonne on matkaa alle 20 metriä. Voit käydä saunan jälkeen uimassa ilman, että on huolta naapureista. Tämä mökki majoittaa 7 henkeä parhaimmillaan, mutta toimii parhaiten alle kuuden hengen kera. Alakerrasta löytyy eteinen, tupakeittiö upealla takalla, sauna, pesuhuone, wc sekä makuuhuone. Yläkerrasta löytyy kaksi makuuhuonetta, joista kummastakin avautuu näkymä luontoon.

After the days' activities, bathe in genuine woodburning sauna with soft steam, dip into hot pool or lake under the arctic sky, in all seasons.

Northern lights paradise

Our luxury is peace and quiet under the starry sky and northern lights. You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center. We are sure that you will fall in love with our peaceful cabin in the middle of snow and northern lights. The cottage is always warm when you arrive, and we will take care of you throughout your stay as if you were our friends.

The cabin sits in a tranquil spot by a river above the Arctic Circle, far from streetlights, where the sky is dark and open in every direction — perfect for watching the northern lights. You can wait for the auroras in the comfort of a warm cabin or the riverside sauna, and when they appear, admire them straight from the terrace. Other winter activities, like snowshoeing and husky rides, are also close by and easy to reach.
