We are a few minutes walk from the village which has a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs in its high street and is situated near to the New Forest National Park. We are a short walk (10 to 15 mins) from the beach and walks in the surrounding countryside. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and marine activities. We can accept one small, well behaved dog by arrangement (please text me to discuss).

Angela’s Retreat: An adorable countryside property

Angela’s Retreat is located in Whitwell on the Isle of Wight, approx 5 km from Ventnor. There are a variety of old stone buildings and it is home to the Isle of Wight’s oldest pub ‘The White Horse’. It is ideally situated for walks, beach days, cycling and fishing holidays. Angela’s Retreat is a self contained residence with its own entrance, small kitchenette, bathroom and 1 bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed if required. WiFi and SKY are also available, as well as parking for one car.

The accommodation is self-contained annex with private access and off-road parking. Central heating, Wi-Fi and smart TV are just some of the facilities available. The Cubby is a self contained studio room with a simple kitchenette and en-suite shower room. It is located a short walk from the centre of Ventnor with Ventnor beach and Steephill Cove both nearby. It has it's own private entrance with driveway parking directly outside allowing guests to come and go as they please. Other facilities include Wifi and an internet-only TV with Netflix and Prime. A small adjacent garden area is the ideal place to enjoy a drink whilst watching the world go by.

On a dark night, you can see the Milky Way light up the sky. 20 minutes stroll to Ventnor beach and High Street with its independent and artisan shops.

It is located centrally in Bembridge, with ready access to a whole variety of coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and village stores. Numerous beaches are on the doorstep, with options of sea-swimming, water sports and fantastic walks. Bembridge, with its harbour, iconic life-boat station and windmill, provides a beautiful base from which to explore all the island has to offer.

Pebble Beach, is a self contained chalet with king size bed and spacious shower room. Includes a fridge with water, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, WiFi, TV, iron, towels, and toiletries, microwave, toaster, plates etc. Outside rack for two bicycles, with a cover. Free off road parking right outside. Breakfast is not included, but there are local cafes, perfect for breakfast and a local pub that serves food daily, takeaways. Emma’s Hut is a light and airy self contained bedroom with ensuite shower room and separate area with catering facilities. We are only 20 minutes drive from the Needles and even closer to Freshwater Bay and minutes from the Coastal Path. The historic town of Yarmouth has a great choice of places to eat, a Grade 2 listed pier a castle and fabulous views across the Solent. The ferry comes into Yarmouth from Lymington and is a short walk up the hill to our home.

With it's own separate entrance, our annexed accommodation offers a spacious 1st floor Studio Flat adjacent to our home and close to local amenities. Off road parking and bike storage available. A welcome pack consisting of bread, butter, jams, cereals, yoghurts, milk, and fruit etc. is provided for your arrival, together with tea and coffee making facilities.

Stroud Green Farm 17th Century Brew House

Originally a 17th Century Brew House and Dairy located on a ten acre small holding in the village of Chale nestled at the foot of St Catherine's- Down on the South Coast of the Isle of Wight. It is an ideal base for walking and cycling.local pub nearby. And nearest village store 4 miles away
