The cottage is on a quiet and beautiful place. The terrace faces south and in calm nice weather it is great to have a nice evening with barbeque grill or lying in the hot tub watching the stars or at winter time watching the amazing northern lights. Great hiking paths are in the area and lots of Icelandic horse realated activities are all around.We are located between Hveragerði and Selfoss (5km from Hveragerði and 10km from Selfoss). There you can find great swimming pools and all necessities.

Hekluhestar cottage at the farm

Take it easy in this tranquil accommodation in our farm, with a peaceful view ! The cottage can welcome up to 6 people, although 4 is the most comfortable. Nicely located, it is about one hour by car from Reykjavik, from the Golden circle and from Vík's black sand beaches. It is 15min away from Hella's bus station, which allows you to visit Lanmannalaugar. The farm has animals roaming around, and also offers riding tours. Its owners are always happy to share a lovely riding experience !

A beautiful cozy cottage

My cozy cottage offers a warm atmosphere year-round and is just a 5–10 minute walk from town, with supermarkets, cafés, and restaurants nearby. The cottage has a small kitchenette with a mini oven and hot plates for simple cooking. Coffee, tea, and essentials are provided. A loft with an extra double bed is usually closed but can be opened upon request for a small cleaning fee. Nearby is Reykjadalur, where you can relax in a natural hot river surrounded by beautiful scenery year-round.

Aurora Horizon Retreat

A quiet and peaceful getaway with amazing ocean views. Located in the beautiful fjord called “Hvalfjörður”. Only a 45 minute drive from the capital. The interior was completely renovated in 2024. You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy amazing views of the horizon during the summer and you might see the northern lights during the winter. It's a perfect location for day trips to discover the Snæfellsnes peninsula and the silver circle and it's not far from the golden circle either.

Himri the mountain villa

Stunning villa with amazing 360 views, great location close to the golden circle and the capital region (only 30 min drive). The villa has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and sleeps 10 people. Himri is very spacious (300 sqm) and has everything you could wish for - a fully equipped gym and game room, a sauna and a hot tub. We just bought the villa and just finished a complete renovation. Additionally, a total of 4 dogs live, work and play on the farm. This is a working farm so don't be alarmed by tractors and all sorts of farm noise and smells.
