Josie and Neil welcome you to Hetherington Downs, their quiet 42 acre North Waikato rural property, set well away from the road & with magnificent views over Lake Waahi and beyond It is a 10m x 3m self contained Compac cabin with a 10m x 3m deck Wifi has only recently been connected to the cabin There is no TV It is most suitable for a couple, but also has a pull out sofa bed (& folding mattress) for your use if required The cabin was new in June 2017 and has now been set up for Airbnb guests

The entire house is for your use. The Sliding gate, fenced yard, and Security cameras ensure both safety and privacy This house was built in the 1970s and refurbished last year. It's not modern in style. It's not on a Cul-de-sac, and sometimes can hear traffic noise. The entrance has 3 steps. All open plan, with a comfortable queen sized bed and a pull out couch, size king single. Best suited to two adults but can work with two small children also. Next door is the Bakehouse or Matte Black cafe for breakfast.

We are central to the Waikato, minutes from the Waikato Expressway/SH1 - approx. an hours drive to Auckland, west coast surfing/fishing beaches like Raglan, 90 mins to east coast Coromandel's world renowned beautiful beaches, a short drive to Hakarimata bushwalks with 800 year old Kauri, Golf Course, Hot Pools, Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hamilton, Hampton Downs Raceway, and lovely cafe's a short drive.
