This basement apartment is located in a beautiful Victorian rowhouse. Modern white walls and fixtures are contrasted with colorful artwork and vibrant patterns to give each space a relaxing vibe. Cook with local ingredients in the kitchen and curl up with a book on the plush sofa after a day of exploring DC. We live in the main house above the apartment, and are available to help with any questions/issues guests may have. The home is located in Bloomingdale - a great neighborhood with a range of charming cafes, tasty restaurants, and lively bars all within a few blocks. Explore the iconic National Mall and the many museums and memorials DC has to offer, or take in a yoga class around the corner after picking up local produce at the neighborhood farmers' market. The two closest Metro Stations are Shaw/Howard University (Green/Yellow), and NoMa (Red line). Both are about a 10 minute walk from our house. Several bus stops are also conveniently located nearby, with service to Chinatown/Downtown, the National Mall, Union Station, Georgetown/Dupont, Logan Circle, etc. If you will be driving, street parking is generally plentiful in our neighborhood, We also provide a visitors parking pass so you don't need to worry about time limits. Please note that the apartment is most suitable for 2-3 adults, though the sofa bed in the living room does sleep 2.

This basement unit located in the residential neighborhood of Parkview is a 0.6mi walk to metro and walkable to restaurants and bars. The apt has a big kitchen, super-fast fiber optic WiFi, a workspace, and in-unit washer/dryer. We live directly above the basement full time with a very large active dog. Because we wake up very early you will hear noise above in the early morning hours. We enjoy using our home to host people on weekends. Must request parking pass 48hrs before arrive.
