Cabin 1 directly on the lake!

We have 3 cabins on Houston County Lake that rent separately. 1&2 have 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms with a loft. The 3rd is a Studio. Master Bedroom has a queen bed with a private bathroom. The guest room has a full-size bunk bed that can sleep 4. The loft has two twin beds in Cabin 1 and a queen mattress in Cabin 2. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, sink, and dishwasher. We also have a Roku TV and WIFI. We have a covered Pavilion with Pickleball, basketball, and other games.

Private Bedroom & Bathroom

One bedroom, one bathroom space with private entrance and secured parking. The studio apartment shares a wall with the host home and has its own stair entrance with keypad door lock, foyer, spacious windowed bedroom, large closet, new mini-split remote control A/C and heat unit, TV, full bathroom with shower. A cooler is available for guest use. 1/4 mile to Main Street, stores, restaurants. Note the property has another Airbnb unit adjacent, a converted shipping container with 2 beds, bathroom.

Historic Loblolly Lodge at Ratcliff Lake

The Loblolly Lodge was built in 1940 by Mr. Taylor as a gathering place for his family. Remodeled in 2018, it now boasts of all the modern conveniences for a great getaway. With 2400sf of indoor living space & a 640sf covered back porch there is plenty of space for several families. The Lodge is nestled on 11 private wooded acres adjacent to Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area in the Davy Crockett National Forest which offers fishing, swimming, picnicking, and hiking for a small entrance fee.

This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Wander our 16 country acres or head out the back gate into the Davy Crockett National Forest. Enjoy your private spa, barbecue and kitchen or the community game room and fire ring. Limited WIFI is available in central areas. Parking is free. Bring your horses and dogs, $50 per pet per stay. Guests must sign a release.
