The Sandy River and miles of trails are steps away. Inside there are 2 bedrooms + a loft with 4 twin beds, a wood-burning stove, a spacious living area, TV, games, and a fully-equipped kitchen.

Blackbird Cottage on Carson Creek - Entire Suite

Beautiful inside and out, Blackbird Cottage is located on 9 wooded acres. You'll have the entire second floor which includes a separate entrance, kitchen, dining area, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, washer/dryer, and deck with picnic table and grill. There are 3 queen beds and a twin bed, sleeping 7, plus a twin air mattresses if you want to get cozy. Explore the garden with goldfish & koi ponds, 1100' of creek, 2 waterfalls, & picnic area. Owner lives downstairs. No animals allowed (allergies).

Our incredible homestead nestled in the woods is the perfect place to make memories. Make it a getaway in the Gorge. Step outside for a walk in the woods or along the river where peace and beauty will surround you. Trails and rivers are all in the backyard! Take an authentic Finnish wood fired sauna with hot water and cold plunge (add as an extra) or gaze at the grand stone fireplace after watching the salmon spawning on the river. Possibilities for local recreation in the gorge also abound.

***IMPORTANT***From December - April we maintain access to the basement apartment unit from Friday-Sunday (ski season!). This is an entirely separate unit with separate entrances. There are no spaced spaces. There will be no interaction. If you're OK with this, please proceed! Escape straight to the 70s in this woodsy retro cabin, a true gem perched in the trees in Rhododendron near Mt. Hood. Imagine relaxing in the hot tub under the stars listening to the seasonal stream babble below!

Little Avalon

This newly upgraded family cottage has been a comfortably living accommodations for our kids and parent when needed. We were able to upgrade it with new floors, bathroom and kitchen for our new Airbnb guest to come stay and enjoy our wonderful Gorge. In this setting you are surrounded by the locals and we are just a 1/4 of an acre away. The kitchen has all the amenities and if you don't like coffee the quick way there is a coffee pot and french press for your coffee desires.

Mountain View Cottage

Our sweet cottage with its Mt. Adams view comes with a large yard perfect for children, dogs & bar-b-ques. Bordering a city park, it's located on a peaceful neighborhood street, with pool, tennis courts, bakery and restaurants just 2 blocks away! The cottage is set up for 2 people, but has a full-size futon on an enclosed sun porch that can accommodate 2 more for an extra $10/night fee (cold in winter). We are happy to host your dog for a $20 pet fee, payable via AIRBNB.

WIFI, two TVs with Netflix, Amazon and You tube etc. About an hours drive from Mount Hood and skiing/hiking areas. Walking distance from Wineries. Private entry from the rear of the house to golf coarse.

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.
