You will be in an entire property this is a private converted maisonette with its own entrance split across ground/first floor This Victorian property benefits from feature bay windows at the front of the house to the ground and first floor. Entrance into hall & stairway, kitchen lounge downstairs, bedroom & bathroom upstairs.

Herne Bay,Whitstable towns and the city of Canterbury just 15 mins by car. Local buses run frequently in both directions Enjoy.

The cabin has a comfortable double bed, smart TV, Wardrobe, breakfast bar/laptop work station, several USB points, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, sink/drainer with hot & cold water A chemical toilet is provided in the cabin for night use. There’s a private toilet & a wonderful hot shower both outside (as per photos) for guest’s use. The front decked veranda adjoins an outdoor kitchen with 2 ring gas hob & brick built BBQ overlooking a large garden that has a lovely view of the sea/sunset.

Annex at the bottom of our garden with its own patio area with views of the pool and garden. Nice quiet area with fields and woodland walks nearby Keys left in door - guests can let themselves in, we are generally around if you have questions There is BBQ area and a heated pool (shared with hosts) for stays of 2 days or more. Bus stop to the historic city of Canterbury and Whitstable coastal town is a 5 minutes walk away. Country walks from the village to Maypole and Hoath with the highly recommended Prince of Wales pub.

Welcome to our charming self-contained annexe in Herne, Kent. This cosy space offers a tranquil retreat for your getaway, providing the comforts of a home away from home. Well behaved dogs are welcome, but please try to keep them off the furniture. Do not leave them unattended. Entry is via a side gate with a lockbox for key retrieval. Whether you seek a relaxing countryside retreat or an adventurous coastal escape, our self-contained annexe in Herne offers the perfect base for you.

The Whitstable Oyster - a self-contained studio

The Whitstable Oyster is a private, self-contained studio in a converted side building of our family home. Situated on a quiet road, it’s a 10-minute walk to Whitstable’s high street and around 20 minutes to the beach, with a Co-op close by. Inside, you’ll find a king-size bed, TV, compact kitchen with hob and combi-oven, dining table, sofa, and a separate shower room with toilet. Free street parking is available. A practical and comfortable base to enjoy Whitstable from.

Quiet hideaway near the beach, with a garden sauna

A stylish, laid back retreat minutes from the sea. With the option of enjoying a relaxing sauna and invigorating cold plunge which is paid for separately. Alba Lodge is a light, airy, double height space, designed with sustainability in mind. Drift off to sleep in the king size bed and freshen up in the large walk in shower. The kitchen is a reclaimed carpenter's bench equipped with all the essentials. The sauna and cold plunge is £30 per couple, per session.

Tidal Cabin - seaside themed cabin in Herne Bay

We look forward to hosting you in our cosy, seaside-themed cabin set in our garden. Suitable for couples or friends as there's also a sofa bed if needed (please advise at the time of booking). (Please note we are unable to accept children under 12.) Perfect as a base for exploring the local area of Herne Bay with great trails for bikes/walks and runners. A welcome basket for a light breakfast is provided, along with teas, coffee and milk/juice.
