There's a farmshop and nursery in the village, plus a children's play area over the road. Enquire for bike hire.

Birdhaven is a delightful cottage situated on a quiet lane in the pretty village of Wenhaston, just a few miles from Southwold and the Suffolk Coast & Heaths. It features lovely views of the surrounding picturesque meadows which offer wonderful sunsets. Self contained private semi-detached cottage. Open plan living, dining and kitchenette. Large bedroom with wardrobes and a super king size bed plus a small double sofa bed in the living space. Featuring a spacious wet room with shower, loo and basin. Views over a lake on Henham Park which is on Suffolk's coast near Southwold and Aldeburgh. Access to the park is not possible unfortunately due to farming and event commitments.

The Green Retreat, near Southwold

The Green Retreat is a perfectly located self-contained annexe in the grounds of Fieldgate Cottage, close to Southwold, Halesworth and Beccles, which offers a double bed, dining table, chairs and wardrobe. The kitchen area has a 2-ring electric hob and small oven, an undercounter fridge with icebox, a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, and toaster. The comfortably sized shower room includes an electric shower, basin and loo.
