Hi, Welcome to Raccoon Retreat! This is a house that you will be able to come to unplug, unwind and reconnect with family, friends and all of what nature has to offer. The home is located within the ‪Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area‬. Here you will have the opportunity to take advantage of hiking trails, waterfalls, swimming, zip lining, fishing, horseback riding, canoeing and kayaking, as well as skiing or snowtubing during the snowy season. Though you get to experience nature here, you are only a short drive away from restaurants, casino, shopping and also water parks. The entire home is all yours! Our three story home sits on a one acre wooded lot. In the event you are just wanting to get away to hunker down here, we have designed the space to feel cozy and warm. A lovely spot to relax in the rural countryside. Enjoy the fresh country air and observe the neighboring livestock. 6 miles to Lake Wallenpaupack. Nearby hiking trails at Lacawac Sanctuary, Schumans point and Varden conservation . Horseback riding at Why-Not riding stable. Antique shops and boutiques in historic Hawley and Honesdale. Under 30 miles to Montage Mountain Resorts, Elk Mountain, Ski Big Bear and Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. All bedrooms are on 2nd floor. Full bath on 1st floor.

Hygge House- Backyard Hiking, Bethel Woods

Peter and I recently bought and renovated this 1790 farmhouse which sits on a sloping hill overlooking Minisink Battleground Park. You can walk off the deck, cross the lawn and explore 50 acres of beautiful trails. On a private road, the house has plenty of peace and quiet. There are two charming bedrooms, two full baths, a cozy living room, sun room (third bedroom), fully stocked kitchen, and laundry room. We've loved making these rooms a bit more modern while keeping the farmhouse vibe.

Lake Access-Spacious Chalet 3 full bathrooms

Spacious home at Lake Wallenpaupack- 3 bedrooms + loft+walkout basement/ 3 full bathrooms. Large living area. Tons of outdoor space and large deck as well as covered under deck . Jen-air grill. Plenty of parking (5 cars). Several marinas nearby for launching and rentals. Beds: 1 king, 2 queens, 1 set of bunk bed and a trundle bed(loft). Flat screen TVs in all bedrooms with the exception of the bunk room. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Community shore (rocky) line access.

Rustic meets modern with this completely remodeled house which sleeps 12. Bring your boat and dock on our private dock or use our kayak. 2 patios overlooking the lake including a fire pit and outdoor chimney area. 3 master suites with king beds and three rooms with queen beds. All rooms have lake views. There's a media / game room with 85 in TV, a bar, sauna, and shuffleboard table. This house has it all including a chefs kitchen with Viking appliances, wine fridge and icemaker.

Escape to the center of 11+ acres of woods, water, and dark starry skies—under 2 hours from NYC. Walls of windows pull the outside in, with a stream, pond, and constant wildlife just beyond. Warm up by the fireplace, unwind in the open living space, and sleep deep in a king bed. A large jetted bathtub, bonus half bath, and a flexible bonus room with pool table and ping pong table on heated floors round it out. Peaceful, private, and made for slowing down.

A King bed is provided in the master bedroom. Relax, Play, and Enjoy. Our home is located in the 5 * star community of Big Bass Lake. The town of Gouldsboro provides for a country setting, however it is very close to many of the Pocono's attractions.
